- RevathiSan Ramon, CA191 contributionsA beautiful park with a smooth biking trail. In the vicinity of the lake, there were a lot of hikers.Written October 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NoMoney TravelGuyUnited States18 contributionsThis local winery and vineyard has amazing views of the valley and picturesque beauty. Walk the vineyards through the fields while you sip from a glass of the estate Pinot Noir. The main building hosts the wine barrels. This is a family-friendly place with a cornhole board and giant Jenga available in the courtyard. They do host weddings with a designated spot overlooking the mountains and valley. - flash54Alexandria, VA71 contributionsWe visited early one afternoon on our way from San Francisco to Campbell. It was easy to find and we enjoyed seeing a bit of downtown Los Gatos on the way. Beautiful trip up the mountain and a beautiful view from the parking lot. We were greeted in the wine bar by a friendly host, and directed to the tasting room. The server was nice, helpful and informative. The wine was good, but a bit expensive. We bought a Chardonnay that we liked, which turned out to be one of the less expensive ones.
Then we went back to the wine bar, where we shared a wonderful cheese platter, and my wife had a glass of the same wine we bought. This is entirely outside and very pretty and comfortable. The only trouble was that we were annoyed by some pesky flies. Altogether a nice afternoon.Written October 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joel RWinston Salem, NC623 contributionsSome excellent wines at very reasonable prices (Try the Pinotage) with an absolutely killer view of the forested hillsides all the way down to the Santa Cruz coastline. Very nice staff and we were lucky enough to have a great guitarist playing for us on the patio. Couldn't ask for a better day ~Written February 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AddorySan Francisco, CA7 contributionsI recently rented a spot at Silver Mountain Vineyard to celebrate by husband's birthday with some of our friends. We all aboslutely loved our time here. The winery has beautiful views, its relaxed and welcoming to dogs and children (within reason of course, assuming they are not bringing the place down). This was an impossible combination to host in the bay area and Livermore areas. My friends loved the wine, views, wine tasting and general hospitality recieved from the staff. All smiling faces.
But the cherry on the cake, was the catering. On Jerold's recommendation, we hired Angela's Catering and I am so glad I did. She is a hidden gem. (I almost don't want to share with anyone, but that would be selfish). Angela's worked with me patiently on the menu and had something for everyone - Pesceterians, Meat lovers, Vegans, Kids. She went above and beyond by doing a rotating platter for the kids and even offered them a round of fun drinks, stole my heart. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. I couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you thank you so much for a memorable event! We will be back. <3Written June 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephen G1 contributionA true beacon in our Town!!! So appreciated that we honor veterans, first responders, and our two Los Gatos boys, Todd Beamer and Mark Bingham, who helped divert flight 93 which was aimed at Washington.Written October 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David MTampa, FL4,418 contributionsTook limekiln trail to Kennedy and down the other side. This is an extremely well graded trail that rises 2000’.
No water at trailhead and scant reception, at least for t-mobile. Didn’t see any wildlife. Saw a couple hikers and several Moi rain bikers.Written February 12, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Famous for the school house which is occupied by the owners and has limited accessibility, it is worth it just for the wine.
The tasting selections are typical except for the names of the wines. Like "teachers pet", "valedictorian",and "field trip". As you can tell the wines all of school related names.
We went on a Thursday and it was not crowded, weekends I can see it being packed. The wine is good, the chardonnays somewhat weak, but the red blend (valedictorian) is excellent

I had no idea Mountain Charley was a real person who survived a bear attack and had a metal plate in his head. I learned a lot about the Ohlone. My parents loved the exhibit of high school students’ art. They are so talented. We visited my great-grandparents and grandparents veterans stones at the memorial outside. A wonderful slice of Los Gatos.Written May 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
