The Italian midfielder – who is expected to regularly feature in Daniele De Rossi’s line-up as Roma prepare to face Milan in the return leg of the Europa League quarterfinals – will enter the capital club’s history books.
According to Leggo, tomorrow’s fixture with represent Pellegrini’s 64th appearance in Europe for the Giallorossi.
He will become the third player in the club’s history with most appearances made in European competitions, matching the legendary Aldair.
