Nos. 9–14 Long Wall Street, sandwiched between two modern buildings of New College
Long Wall Street, which today is usually spelt as Longwall Street, lies just outside the city wall (which survives at the end of the back gardens of the houses shown above and can be seen from inside New College). It lay in the parish of St Peter-in-the-East.
All the houses are on the west side of the road, and are now college buildings: Magdalen College owns Nos. 1–8, and New College owns Nos. 9–20. All the original houses are intact, except for Nos. 15, 16, and 17, which New College replaced with the Sacher Building.
