I have been enamored with this album ever since I stumbled across Kiki and Carmelo's UK tour dates earlier this year. 'The Long Ride Home' is the fourth instalment of their joint album series, following 'Where Rivers Meet' (1998), 'The Walk of Faith' (2005), and 'A Place Where I Can Go' (2013). The album is full of atmospheric soundscapes, excellently layered with Carmelo Luggeri's guitar playing, and combined with Kiki Dee's silken vocals.
