Luckily, we found this place after driving around trying to find a real deli in the area. Richards was it! Absolutely fantastic, freshly made sandwiches and hoagies. Very friendly staff (especially the host). Huge sandwich at the right price!

NY style deli food,, however they are not kosher. Normal corn beef and pastrami, fresh turkey. Thing I like most is the re bread. Don't eat the pickles or cole slaw they are left on the table all day and taste like they are days...old.More

The food has always been great. People are nice. Hours convenient. The only drawback is it’s a cash only deli. However I don’t blame them as the clientele are always changing as it’s in a resort area.

Very average food for the price. Not impressed at all. Not sure why the place got great reviews. I much prefer Brennan’s in West long branch!

I have been coming here for years with my family! Great memories of meeting my Mom for lunch when I was a student at Monmouth College when she worked near by. Food is always fresh and seriously the best rye bread in town. Love their...assorted pickles, cole slaw and macaroni salad carousel brought to each table. Still has the best Turkey on Rye with Cole Slaw and Russian Dressing in town not to mention excellent Corned Beef and Sloppy Joes! Richards is the BOMB!!! Everything is fresh and delicious! I have never been disappointed! Soups are great and my favorite is the Matzo Ball soup (with or without noodles)! Best Darn French dip I have ever had! Roast beef melts in your mouth and the...breads are all wonderful!! The Thanksgiving Day sandwich! OMG! JUST GET IT! It is so flipping good!!!! My husband usually gets a Reuben and will eat no other Macaroni salad but Richards!! My son is always getting a hot meal! Meatloaf, pot Roast or a pasta dish! Any place that serves you pickles, coleslaw and macaroni salad as a free appetizers gets a thumbs up from me. The Reuben was tasty, as was the matzo ball soup. It is BYOB also. Good place for a lunch or light supper.

We've been here many times over the years - both to eat in, and to take out. Food is consistently fresh, and excellent. Service has always been excellent.

Had a great breakfast on Sunday morning, fast service and all good food. Pancakes excellent, eggs and pork roll cooked to order, a spot the locals enjoy frequently. Great, big sandwiches for lunch too. Informal dining.

Ordered a Turkey sandwich and hot brisket. Servings were good, chips were amazing! To be honest, the meats were both on the dry side, gravy was just okay.

I go to Richards frequently because of the food, staff and price. First the food is always good, the staff is polite and has humor and the price is fair foe what you get.
