Dear Admissions Committee,
I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience at Long Beach City College. The supportive environment, dedicated faculty, and hands-on learning opportunities have been invaluable in shaping my educational journey.
LBCC's emphasis on practical skills and real-world experiences has prepared me for success in my field. The diverse community and inclusive atmosphere have enriched my perspective and taught me invaluable lessons in collaboration and cultural understanding.
While my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, I believe continued investment in [specific area of interest or improvement] would further enhance the college's offerings and reputation.
Thank you for considering my testimonial. I am excited about the possibility of contributing to LBCC's legacy of excellence.
Warm regards,
Seyed Vahid Shojaei

This was the perfect place to make mistakes, grow and come back stronger. This school is adaptable to many needs whether one wants to be super involved in campus life or assistance in transferring as soon as possible. I did not intend to go to LBCC, but the pandemic ruined my university plans so I decided to take my time assessing my next move while taking classes here. I've encountered nothing but a diverse and kind student body who made me feel welcomed as a former gap year student. I was taking classes with all sorts of people and learned so much about people's pathway's and the different routes that life takes people. Here, different calls to life were celebrated in a way that I have not seen anywhere else in my academic history. Some students were meant to transfer, some meant to go to get their AA and some heading straight to the working field and LBCC supported and celebrated each of these pathways. Because of this I am proud to have ended up at this school and thankful.
There are two Long Beach City College campus'. One is newer and geared towards Liberal Arts, and the other towards Manufacturing/Trades and celebrating 75 years. Both cover General Education well. I have spent a small amount of time at Liberal Arts Campus as stated it is newer, nice and spacious. The Tech and Trades Campus has land and are building new buildings to compensate for rapid growth. These new buildings, along with existing buildings are fitted for the newest technologies and equipment, keeping teaching material up to date.
All of the staff, from custodians to the president, are kind, attentive, available, and approachable. The instructors show a genuine interest in students learning, and everyone is treated equally. This makes for a comfortable learning environment.
I would like to see the website a bit better organized. Sometimes links are not available so Google is needed to find pages.
