- TriCityDudeSaginaw, MI747 contributionsBeautiful bike ride on the riverbank, from this downtown park to Springbank Park. It’s woodsy, with views of the river from the south side the whole way (5 miles). Perfect for a Sunday afternoon ride, and while there were other people using the bikepath, it was still really nice!Written May 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Indah EdlightzOntario, Canada3,197 contributionsBudweiser Gardens is a great place to watch an OHL Game. The Knights are usually pretty good team to you'll be in for an entertaining game. The team also has a large following so the place is filled and has a good atmosphere. Going in is pretty easy.. the staff is efficient with covid protocols so the line moves quickly. inside the staff is also fantastic and helpful. Food and beverage is pretty pricey as you would expect in a busy place, other OHL team arenas don't have the same following so they can't overcharge on food but this place can .. they have a neat Jack Daniels bar that is unique and has some cool offerings. The game experience is good with fun entertainment between periods. My biggest complaint with watching the game is that the PA system is terrible and you cannot hear the announcer most of the time as its muffled. But the biggest issue I had is that the popcorn is completely unedible, so if you are reading this... don't but the large popcorn as you will throw your money away. it is so salty that you cannot enjoy it. i'm sure they have received complaints about it but chose to serve it still. Other than that.. its a good experience watching the game. Beyond that.. the streets near the arena are totally sketchy, so don't plan on walking alone.Written December 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elvie AAurora, Canada11 contributionsVery well maintained park. The public washrooms are immaculately clean and supervised. There are a lot of homeless people around so they keep the park well supervised and under control. - Lisa KPortage, IN38 contributionsTraveling back to Michigan from Toronto, we passed by London, Ontario and stopped for a couple of hours at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. It was interesting to see the progression from pioneer homes of the 1800's to early 1900's Victorian style buildings. Great way to spend a few hours and learn about the history of the area. Staff were in costume and very knowledgeable.Written June 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Culture574976176055 contributionsSpent about 4 hours here with my husband and 2.5 year old son. Entrance fee was 9 dollars each and we got my son the ride all day band for 14 dollars. Wouldn't get the ride all day band as he only went on elephant ride and carousel ( Ferris wheel and swings were a little to big for him) prices were great even inside the park, food wise it was decent and lines were minimal. Don't think we waited more than 10 mins for anything , the longest wait is to pay for entering and than the line to get tickets. We did face painting ( she wasn't the friendliest but did a good job) all workers we ran into were friendly. I think this is a perfect little park for the kids who can't do long lines ! Loved the splash pad and parkWritten July 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tabor N1 contributionBest Mocha to be found in London! Made with great vibes and served with joy from friendly staff. (Nothing better than a family owned business!) The Market Cafe and Covent Garden Market is a must stop in London, Ontario.Written April 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JuanRobertoMidland, Canada43 contributionsMy daughter and I visited the residence early October and loved the setting and ambience offered. The tour is self guided, however the lady looking after the property was very helpful and knowledgeable about the family and the history. Her enthusiasm was warm and welcomed, with my daughter loving every minute. The detail and condition of the artefacts allow you to be transferred back in time, when the property was on the outskirts of the city, in the middle of the countryside! We absolutely loved our time at the residence and consider it a gem and a must do activity whilst in London. Hopefully the road works shadowing the property have been completed, which would improve access to and from the house.Written December 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William KimLondon, Canada100 contributionsA great place to check out and go for a walk. The campus is absolutely beautiful and is very safe, secure, well-maintained, and historic. The buildings part of Western definitely tell a story about the rich history of the school.Written February 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elvie AAurora, Canada11 contributionsStunning site. Immaculately maintained. Make sure you check to see when it’s open as we went on a Friday afternoon and all doors were locked. There’s a lot of homeless people downtown so I understand why. Beautiful grounds and building exterior.Written August 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- William KimLondon, Canada100 contributionsLondon is truly known for its wonderful parks, but in my opinion, this park is the best one in town. The Thames River flows along this park, and there is even a Kiwanis Music Park right on the park site for people to play at with the musical instruments that are set up there. How cool is that!
There are lots of nice, quiet, peaceful trails that make up this park - this is an ideal place to get your exercise done at, or even just unwind at or meet up with friends at. The park is overall well maintained and kept well clean.
Just be mindful of the numerous geese that take over this park. You therefore will want to watch your step while walking - you sure don't want to step on top of their crap!
I wish more people knew about how serene of an experience Gibbons Park provides. It truly is the best park in the city, at least in my opinion.Written July 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
