SUBSCRIPTION BUSING 2024-2025:

IT'S TIME TO SECURE YOUR SEAT! The district provides free transportation for in-district students who live more than 2 miles from school in grades K-8; and more than 2.5 miles from the high school. Subscription busing is available for students who are not eligible for free busing. If you are unsure if you qualify for free transportation, please call the Transportation Department at 973-535-8000, x8013, BEFORE filling out this form. LPS students looking to enhance their educational experience— either by catching up on the past school year’s coursework or getting a head start on that of the one to come — have a wide selection of classes to choose from through the district’s upcoming Summer Academy program.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open.

• Children must be 5 years old on or before October 1st of the current year to enter Kindergarten, or 6 years old by October 1st of the current year to enter 1st grade as per Entrance Age Policy 5112. View Entrance Age Policy #5112.
• Any Livingston resident who completed the kindergarten registration process by May 15th will be notified of their child's school placement by June 1st. 
• If your child currently attends the Livingston Public School Pre-School program you DO NOT have to complete the pre-registration online. Please contact Amy Ennis at aennis@livingston.org for instructions.
