Mel C They got all the facts right, but I'm surprised the milquetoast conclusion didn't include a commercial for an SUV. If this is Jeff Bridges vision for the future the human race will soon be extinct. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Touches on many concepts but has no flow and jumps around, unfortunately it just seems poorly put together overall. Good concept for a doco like this and was really looking forward to it but failed to inspire me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member I did not agree with everything presented in the movie, nor its taking pot shots at Trump, which everyone in Hollywood seems to have jumped onto this bandwagon. What the movie did point out is that the problem is too many people. This makes the case for Trump not wanting to allow overpopulation through allowing immigrants in who deliberately overpopulate. Islam can never be environmental because it promotes invasion and conquest through overpopulation and the movie points out that every person alive on the planet depletes the resources of the planet - that for a person to live, other living creatures must die, and the planet is further degraded. We are all interconnected to this planet and unless we put a stop to belief systems that deny and encourage overpopulation so their gene pool can dominate the planet, we are sunk. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I think every lawmaker, every corporate CEO, needs to see this repeatedly until it permeates their skulls. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Jeff Bridges and all those who worked hard to make this film need to be applauded. This was superb work! I always appreciate any piece that can open my mind even further and help me to think even deeper about our planet, our future, our existence, other species and how we are all together in this thing we call life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a great title since I can never remember it, but a great movie with a beautiful message and motivation. If every American got the message of this beautiful movie, all of our most serious problems would be solved. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Unfortunately, it's pretty easy to react dismissively to this earnest film, which speaks to so many very smart, very thoughtful people it can hardly find room to let any of them talk for long. Oct 5, 2018 Full Review Rob Thomas Capital Times (Madison, WI) "Living in the Future's Past" coalesces around an earnest and resonant message, especially as Bridges' gravelly voice urges us to do more than just "scratch the guilt itch" and make sustainable changes that feel authentic to our lives. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 20, 2019 Full Review Film Threat Staff Film Threat In the end, Living in the Future's Past is quite conventional and presumably something we've already seen before, but it never hurts, especially as we are reaching the point of no return. Rated: 5.5/10 Feb 20, 2019 Full Review Jonathan W. Hickman Daily Film Fix The film is absolutely gorgeous, featuring an amazing collection of high resolution footage working in tandem with Bridges' rich narration. Not preachy, this didactic narrative does serve as a low key prayer for universal support for conservation. Rated: 8/10 Oct 8, 2018 Full Review Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry Living in the Future's Past does not challenge viewers with an overwhelming task of changing the world, but in changing ourselves. It asks us to look within and examine whether we confuse what we need with what we desire and vice versa. Oct 5, 2018 Full Review Serena Donadoni L.A. Weekly The film presents arrogance as being as dangerous as greed, and it's with the soft smile of Hollywood irony that a grizzled actor reminds the audience that only you can prevent environmental disaster.
