Reviews
- Of the three triple live lps Alan has put out in the last couple of years this is your best choice. It at least sounds in stereo whereas One Note Symphony sounds like mono. Neverending Show gives you a new studio bonus track for what it's worth. This album is cleaner and louder than both. We'll see how Very Best Live sounds which MOV puts out later this month.
- Have had two copies, now; crackles at the start of side one and side four on both. How's everybody else's copy?
- Excellente prestation de ce groupe mythique.
Le son est bon sans plus, mais l'apport de l'orchestre symphonique donne à ce triple Lp un caractère unique. - Edited 8 months agoLP vinyl is good, not great as I would expect from Alan Parsons being involved. Sound may be a bit too dull for my taste, but does have broad stage, a bit shy on the highs, but has it's moments. Was expecting a more symphonic force with full range, knock you out dynamics. UPDATE: July 2023, just listened through again and I'm now totally delighted with the full range sound, huge orchestra power and production. I'm not an expert, but perhaps listening through 'new' vinyl beyond one spin play helps bring out the magic. I am back to 5 stars!
