Another fun- and hit-filled live set from Ringo, this time with the guitar-filled '92 lineup of the All-Starr Band: Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Dave Edmunds, Todd Rundgren, Nils Lofgren, Burton Cummings, Tim Capello, and Zak Starkey. From the ""Really Serious" Introduction" by Quincy Jones all the way to long-awaited live finale of "With A Little Help From My Friends" this album captures the high-energy celebration of one of that year's most successful tours.
As on Ringo's previous live album, he shares the spotlight with the stellar talent in his band. This time the highlights include Schmit doing his trademark Eagles number "I Can't Tell You Why"; Edmunds rocking out on "Girls Talk," Rundgren reaching into his solo catalogue for "Bang the Drum All Day," and Cummings leading the definitive version of the Guess Who's greatest hit, "American Woman."
As for the genial bandleader, Ringo performs songs ranging from "Don't Go Where The Road Don't Go" -- a rocking ode to his newly-sober lifestyle, taken from his 1992 album TIME TAKES TIME -- to the rock'n'roll oldie "Boys," once a favorite Beatles cover and here performed by the All-Starrs in vintage, garage-band style.
