The result of the proposal was: Moved to alternative suggestion List of countries in the Americas by population. The current title's use of Pan-American (meaning embracing the whole continent) is not precisely correct, while the alternative suggestion is also less ambiguous than the original title. List of Pan-American countries by population → List of American countries by population — This is the original title of the page, a list of all the countries in the American continent. Numbers under incorrect headings[edit]

The United States and Brazil have all their numbers placed in the wrong columns. I'd fix it myself but I rarely edit wikipedia and the edit page is very confusing with all the table formatting, which I don't want to mess up.
