Hi. Is it possible to get to oriente bus station in 50minutes after arrival of our plane in lisbon airport? How fast can you get through airport to metro?
No!
Even if you are coming from a Schengen Destination and have only carry-on bags, it will depend where the plane parks.
If the plane parks at a remote apron and you have to be bussed in it can take at least 20 minutes to get to the terminal.
Example: I picked up someone off-peak yesterday late morning who flew in from São Paulo. The plane went to a remote apron and the passengers were bussed in to the Terminal. It took my pick-up 75 minutes to get from the plane through immigration, baggage collection and customs to meet me. If they had then taken the Metro to Oriente, It would have taken at least 30 minutes more.
Even if the plane parks nose into the Terminal, it could still take 75 minutes to get to Oriente.
I have done it in 45 minutes when everything was in my favour, but I would not make a train or bus reservation for less than 2 hours after the alleged flight arrival time even coming from Europe. Coming from UK, USA, Canada I would hesitate and consider even longer.
