I'm a freelance illustrator, and some people have asked why I don't have any of my work up here... I figured, hey, why not?

I've been doing scratchboard illustration since I got out of college... it's a pretty exacting medium; there's no 'sketching in' a section. So I tend to have pretty busy compositions, which are the sorts of things I liked to look at when I was just a kid. I still like looking at busy art, if it's rewarding upon study... people are surprised when they see my figure drawings, which are super loosey-goosey. Maybe I'll put some up here, some time!

For fun, I play the 'cello in a tango trio, and hike, and sit in coffee shops chit-chatting. Of course I like reading, cycling, nordic skiing, and watching movies... what else? Strolling. I'm a world class stroller.
