usage citations[edit]

While something may turn up that precisely defines this region, there are numerous usages available in GoogleBooks and elsewhere to demonstrate its validity. Essentially the Lillooet Country corresponds, rather exactly, to the traditional territory of the St'at'imc peoples, at least in its original meaning, as the Pemberton Valley is now seen as more part of the Sea-to-Sky Corridor

  • Google Books search "Lillooet Country" excluding Wikipedia, 339 results. Note that the sense of "the country of the Lillooet [St'at'imc]" is interchangeable with non-native references.
  • More later. This in response to the imputation of a threat that these articles and related categories may be CfDd/RMd out of existence by people who don't know anything about British Columbia geography or toponymy.Skookum1 (talk) 14:27, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
