- Rhodri was born on April 2, 1977, in Cardiff, UK, to parents – Lynne Giggs and Danny Wilson.
- He is the younger brother of international football superstar, Ryan Giggs and the uncle of Zachary Joseph and Liberty Beau Giggs.
- Rhodri went to Grosvenor Road Primary School as well as Moorside High School in Swinton, the U.K. after his family relocated there from Cardiff in 1981.

- Rhodri married Natasha Lever in September 2010 in Las Vegas. He was unaware that Natasha was having an affair with his brother Ryan and had secretly aborted their love child per Ryan’s request, just a few weeks before the wedding!
- Rhodri and Natasha met in March 2003, when she and Ryan had already planned to sleep together.
- The affair carried on for eight years before Natasha Giggs went public with details in June 2011.
- She told publications that Ryan had given her £500 to abort their child, and despite denying it at first, the footballer later admitted to his brother that he had indeed been sleeping around with his wife, but that it was nothing more than just sex!
- Rhodri and Natasha have two sons, Liam and Louis yet they finally decided to call it quits in April 2013, almost two years after details of the affair went public.
- The Giggs brothers would later reconcile in April 2015 when Ryan called Rhodri to apologise. They were later spotted in Manchester hanging out a club together.

- Rhodri began his football career as a trainee, playing for Salford Boys first, then transferring to Torquay United.
- Not happy with his time there, Giggs quit halfway through his training and decided to quit football altogether.
- When he was 19 years old, he decided to give football another went and played briefly with Livingston Club for about six months. He decided to leave football again and began working a real estate agent until October 1997.
- After quitting real estate, Giggs decided to try out football again and has since played for the likes of Salford City, Bangor City, Aberystwyth Town, Kidsgrove Athletic, Bacup Borough, Mossley, F.C. United of Manchester and Curzon Ashton.
- He has moved around quite a lot during his football career, but in 2010, Giggs had moved back to Salford City and seemed content there.

- When Rhodri was training at Torquay United, he used the name “Rhodri Jones” so as not to be compared to his famous brother Ryan.
