I Never Thought This Would Happen to Me
These were the iconic words of Mamie Brown, Les Brown’s adoptive mother when he repaid her love and dedication to her children by buying her first home. Les Brown was born on the floor of an abandoned building and given away to the arms of his adopted mother along with his twin brother. He was labeled educable mentally retarded, put back from the 4th grade to the 3rd grade, and dubbed the Dumb Twin—until one teacher saw something different in him. Now, we know Les Brown as the legendary motivator, speaker, and corporate trainer that has influenced the likes of Eric Thomas, Brendon Burchard, Lisa Nichols, and millions of others. And now...we honor that greatness with Les Brown’s 77th year of Life celebration.

Hi, I’m Dr. Ona Brown, the Dream & Message Midwife! I’m here to help my father solidify his legacy with a longtime dream: The Les Brown Center for Greatness. My father has been living his dream of helping millions across generations to discover the potential that is within them.
My father believed the story that he could never be successful until one teacher changed his outlook forever. He worked with a young Les Brown to water the seeds of passion within him. And just like that teacher helped my Dad see a new reality for himself, we want to bring that greatness within reach for more people.
That’s where the Les Brown Center for Greatness comes into the timeline of this amazing life journey which is still unfolding 77 years later.
Because once you know that greatness already lives in you… and you believe it, greatness is within your reach!
A Place to Find Your Greatness
The idea for the Les Brown Center for Greatness came out of the need for a sacred space for transformation. So many people travel to hotels and resorts to mix and mingle with others on a similar path.
The only challenge is once you leave the training room, or go for food or exercise, the created sacred space is compromised by those who aren't necessarily committed to a life of greatness. The entire vibe outside of the training room can be totally different, cold and at times even toxic.
Any exposure to negativity threatens to undo the insights, breakthroughs and transformation that you and your team have experienced for the hours within the training space. This can oftentimes create a loss of gained momentum.
With a dedicated center for transformation, we will create a safe space for personal development free from:
- Those that aren’t sharing your path to greatness
- Family members and colleagues that don’t support your mission
- Distractions that prevent you from locking into your purpose and focusing on your growth
In short, you get to focus on yourself in a sacred transformational space and grow those seeds that are buried deep within you. But we need your help to make it happen.

When you donate to the fund, your contribution will go toward securing the future building site of the Les Brown Center for Greatness. We intend to build The Greatest Place on Earth for personal development. A place that is equally as exciting as it is soul-stirring and renewing.
