Fantastic album. Really out there and weird, but with a deep, groovy beat. It sounds futuristic even today. Similar deconstructionist approach to the early Devo, but a little bit less whimsical and more dour. It's a good companion piece to the PIL album Metal Box/Second Edition, as the material was apparently recorded around the same time, and perhaps even at the same place.

the last track Pineapple on my original first pressing bought the week it came out is edited by a fade out to 3:35.
