IN THE CARE OF

Pablo Trevino, of San Juan, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home in Dallas, Texas, on Friday, June 17, 2022, surrounded by family.
Pablo, born June 21, 1948, in Refugio, Texas, was the son of the late Elias “Lee” and Elodia (Garcia)
Trevino. Pablo is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Norma (Guerra) Trevino, seven children -
Ricardo Garza of Greeley, Colorado; Melissa (Javier) Galindo of McAllen, Texas; Veronica (Joe) Flores of
Wylie, Texas; James (Dina) Silva-Trevino of Edinburg, Texas; Regina (Matt) Lyons of Lima, Ohio; Rosalinda
(Baron) Ford of Murphy, Texas; and Yvonne Trevino of The Colony, Texas, his sister, Maria (Roel)
Villarreal of Rio Grande City, Texas, 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends. Pablo was preceded in death by his brother Lee Trevino, sister Minerva
Garcia, brother Jose Santos Trevino, brother Jose Dolores Garcia and granddaughter Amelia Rose Torres.
Pablo was an avid collector and virtual encyclopedia of Tejano music. He shared that love of music with
many friends over the years. He was a “jack of all trades” who used his broad knowledge to fix just
about anything. Pablo was most proud of building his family’s home from the ground up. He loved
sports, especially football, where his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys, but to him, Tom Brady was
his boy. He and Norma enjoyed visiting casinos on their many travel adventures. Pablo also spent his
free time watching his grandchildren excel in their many accomplishments.
A visitation for Pablo will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM followed by a rosary service from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider a plant or a monetary donation to help our sweet mother. Please contact any daughter for additional details.
