Arsenal are keen on raiding Brighton and Hove Albion again as they want to reunite Leandro Trossard with Moises Caicedo.
The Gunners have struck two deals already this month.
Winger Trossard arrived from Brighton before Arsenal snapped up defender Jakub Kiwior from Spezia.
Some may have thought that the January spending was over but Arsenal are pushing for a new addition once again.
This time it’s a midfielder being targeted with Mohamed Elneny now facing a spell on the sidelines through injury.
Arsenal have been linked with a number of options but the strongest link now appears to be with Brighton star Caicedo.
Arsenal have offered £60million for Caicedo, but Brighton have rejected that bid.
The Daily Mail suggest that a new £70million offer is coming in soon as the Gunners aim to beat the clock and sign Caicedo this week.

If Arsenal do pull off this huge deal in the coming days, Caicedo will have a very familiar face to link up with at the Emirates Stadium.
Trossard traded the South Coast for North London just over a week ago and he thinks very highly of Caicedo.
Speaking on Brighton’s official website back in May 2022, Trossard suggested that Caicedo had been ‘brilliant’ for the Seagulls alongside Marc Cucurella.
Caicedo clearly made a huge impression on Trossard and that goes for petty much everybody who has witnessed him in action.
Caicedo is all-action in midfield and at just 21, he appears to have the potential to become an absolute superstar.
If Arsenal need a reference on Caicedo, Trossard can certainly provide one – and he would surely speak very highly of him.
The chance to reunite with Trossard may appeal to Caicedo, and their connection on the pitch is something that could really help Arsenal – if they can actually get it done.
