What did Mark Ronson say about "Late Night Feelings"?

After a long, fruitless day of writing over some tracks I had lying around, I decided I kind of had enough and was gearing up to leave for the night. With a slightly frustrated but also “never say die” attitude, Ilsey asks if I want to try one more idea. In my head I’m thinking “No. I actually want you to leave so I can go home and hang with my dogs” but I nod “ok”.

So I start playing some chords, and they feel a little more interesting than what we’ve been doing and she immediately starts singing this wonderful haunting/soulful melody and my hairs stand up a little. Within half an hour, we had the first verse and pre chorus of “Late Night”. Within a week or so, Lykke shows up to the studio and we all finish writing the tune together. When she came up with the phrase “late night feelings”, I knew pretty much right away that’s what the album would be called.
