Las Lomas High School is a Walnut Creek, California-based public high school. It was established in 1951 by the Acalanes Union High School District and welcomed its first graduating class in the fall of 1952.

Las Lomas was the second of five Acalanes Union High School District schools to be constructed. It is a traditional high school that serves grades 9 through 12 and has a long history of academic and athletic achievement.

The school offers a robust college preparatory program in addition to many extracurricular activities. The school’s colours are maroon and gold, and the Knight is the mascot. In 2011-12, Las Lomas had 1,482 students. 

The school has a 96.4 percent graduation record, with 97 percent of graduates going on to college. Las Lomas was ranked #372 in the country by US News & World Report in 2013. In 2008, it was named a National Blue Ribbon School.

As opposed to other California high schools, this one has an above-average school quality rating. Students here have above-average college readiness metrics, this school serves poor students almost averagely, and students score above-average on state assessments.

Inside California, Las Lomas High is ranked 175th. Advanced Placement® coursework and tests are available for students. Las Lomas High School has a 59 percent AP® participation record. 

A total of 37 percent of students are from a minority group, and 12 percent of students are socially deprived. Las Lomas High School is one of five high schools in the Acalanes Union High School District.
