Women's Basketball Inks Laniah Randle

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women's basketball has inked transfer forward Laniah Randle from Southern Illinois, head coach Robin Pingeton announced on Thursday.

A Missouri Valley First Team All-Conference performer, Randle arrives to the Tigers after averaging 18.7 points and 8.8 rebounds for the Salukis a season ago while making 28 starts.

The MVC Most Improved Player, she posted 10 double-doubles while recording four games with 30 or more points.

On the defensive side, Randle ranked fifth in the conference in steals with 62.

A native of Wichita, Kansas, she earned consecutive Coaches Association All-State honors in 2020 and 2021 at Wichita Heights High School.

The signee is the second transfer addition for the Tigers this offseason following the arrival of Nyah Wilson from New Mexico.
