Lane Tech College Prep High School Reviews
Rating 4.19 out of 5 3,248 reviews
Best parts were that we had a lot of resources and unique study opportunities (like a Writing Center) and teachers were very supportive. Clubs were also good, especially academic ones (for LTAC). I think they could work on security a bit because some students sneak out which makes the school seem unresponsible
High school is a pivotal time in every student's life, shaping not only academic knowledge but also fostering personal growth and lifelong memories. Lane Tech High School, situated in the heart of Chicago, has been the backdrop to my incredible journey through adolescence. The school's vibrant atmosphere, rich cultural diversity, unwavering teacher support, and a sense of community have made my high school experience truly exceptional. One of the standout features of Lane Tech is its vibrant array of clubs. These clubs not only celebrate the diverse backgrounds of the student body but also create a unique space for cultural exchange. Being a part of these clubs allowed me to immerse myself in various traditions, fostering a deep appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures represented within our school community. The dance performances became more than just showcases; they were celebrations of unity, fostering connections among students from different backgrounds.
I am a fan of Lane Tech. It truly is a great school, with a number of academic opportunities that I would have not had anywhere else. At Lane Tech, I have been able to take various AP courses and honors classes, and I have been able to explore more niche interests, such as aquaponics. The teachers are for the most part very good at what they do, and I am happy to say that I have learned a lot at Lane Tech and I have been able to succeed in a rigorous and competitive environment. Outside of academics, Lane Tech has a great sense of community, through things like sports, clubs, and other organizations.
