While Flight of the Intruder and Into the Sun are other realistic fighter pilot movies that have just as much drama on the ground as they do in the sky.

It's also worth mentioning the sci-fi movies that have made the list - Independence Day and Stealth both feature modern fighter jets flying up against futuristic enemies.
