Which firehouses will be featured on season one of LA Fire & Rescue?
Station 8 (West Hollywood): Captains Mike Carolan and Roy Ortiz, both born into firefighter families, are the leaders of this firehouse located just off the famed Sunset Strip. As a result of its location, this station answers frequent calls to fires in large apartment complexes and high-rise buildings.
Station 16 (Watts): This squad is nicknamed “The Fire Factory” for its quirky crew, but is one of the most sought after and well-respected stations. It is headed by Capt. Dan Olivas, whose own son Jeff Olivas (Firefighter/Paramedic) is a rookie at LACoFD and hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Station 37 (Palmdale): Captains Stan Maloof and Eric Tumbarello oversee one of the oldest sations in the county. Palmdale’s firefighters motto is “Every Day’s a Holiday” because each day is filled with unpredictable, nonstop calls.
Station 41 (Compton): Capt. Scott Woods has his hands full working at the station which answers the most calls in the county. Each of the above firehouses tackle completely different aspects of Los Angeles County, and this Compton station’s area is unique in that it can be rough and dangerous, but it has the support of its community, which respects its firefighters
Station 101 (Claremont): Siene Freeman (Firefighter/Paramedic) is the focus of the episode at Station 101, who succeeded in her lifelong dream even after being told she wouldn’t make it.
Station 125 (Calabasas): As the 15th female ever hired by LACoFD, Capt. Sheila Kelliher is a trailblazer with a passion for teaching new recruits to be their best in the field. Station 125 also answers calls in Malibu, so it is protecting some of the most luxurious and stunning parts of Los Angeles.
Station 172 (Inglewood): Captains Chris Davis and Kevin Grayson are proud veterans who joined LACoFD after serving in the Marines and Army, respectively, and oversee one of the most diverse stations in the LACoFD.
Air Operations: Captains Johnny Gray III and Dave Baumann oversee the “Angels in the Sky” operation of high-flyers. This crew is accustomed to high-stakes distress calls, only responding to the most urgent patients and hard-to-reach locations.
