[general] do fatal flaws really mean anything

Discussion

is it just the flaw that results in the persons death or the greatest flaw of the person like could Percy destroy the world in rage and just die because he was loyal to the wrong person that gets him killed? Because Percy has much more wrath and rage moments than giving up something for loyalty. I mean he literally gives up his mom so he can save the world, sure it wasn’t permanent but it could’ve been.
