Buy Online, Free Store Pickup

Kohls.com orders placed using In-Store Pickup are fulfilled and ready to be picked up within 2 hours after the order is placed and available to pick up same day, provided the order is placed at least 2 hours before store closing. 


 

Orders not picked up within 7 days of the original purchase date will automatically be refunded and inventory will be placed back into inventory. Any Kohl’s Cash or Rewards that have been applied, will have the value returned.

How to Place a Buy Online, Free Store Pickup Order

On the product page, you must choose the “FREE Store Pickup Today” option prior to selecting the “Add to Cart” button. Be sure to choose any color or size option prior to selecting the FREE Store Pickup option. You can view the availability at other store locations by clicking “check other stores.” 

You can edit the Free Store Pickup option while viewing and confirming your cart prior to checkout. Once an order is placed to a specific location, the item can’t be transferred to pick up at a different location.

 

Frequently Asked Questions About Free Store Pickup 

Why are some products not available at my store location?

While we try to stock as many products at all times in our stores, from time to time certain items may become unavailable. Certain colors, styles and sizes change frequently, so check back often or try another store location to find the item you are looking for. 

Is there an extra cost to buy items online and pick them up in store? 

There is no cost - Store Pickup is always free. 

When will I get charged for my order? 

Once the order is marked as Ready for Pickup, a charge will be made. If you place an order with Free Store Pickup and have items being shipped to you, you may see multiple pending transactions. These duplicate charges will drop off when merchandise is picked up or delivered. For more information on pending charges or authorizations, please see here. 

Can I cancel my order? 

Once an order is placed using the Free Store Pickup option, there are two options available to cancel the order. You can wait 7 days for the order to automatically be refunded in the system, or you can use the "Ask Us" button on this page for assistance. 

Can I change the store pickup location after I make the purchase? 

Unfortunately once an order has been placed for Free Store Pickup, you are unable to update the location to be picked up at a different store location. 

How will I know when my order is ready to be picked up? 

You will receive an email from us once the order has been processed and fulfilled at the store. Typically we fulfill these orders within 2 hours.

If you want to receive a text alert when your order is ready for pickup, you can add your mobile number in the Pickup Options section during checkout.
 

Where do I pick up my order? 

All orders can be picked up at the Customer Service desk. You should receive specific pickup instructions via email. Be sure to use the designated Store Pickup parking spot to help get your order quicker. 

What do I need to pick up my order? 

You will need: 

  • A government-issued ID
  • Pickup confirmation email 

If you are unable to print your pickup notification, be sure to have the pickup email ready on your mobile device. 

Who can pick up my order? 

Orders must be picked up by the original customer who purchased the order, unless an alternative pickup person was added prior to placing the order. To add an alternate pickup person, you’ll need to add the first name, last name and email address (optional) of the person who will pick up the order. 

You can edit or add an alternate pickup person by going to the Manage Order page in your Account History.

How long will my order be held at the store? 

Your order will be held for seven days. We’ll send you an email reminder the day prior to your order being canceled.

We understand that things happen and you may not be able to pick up your order within the 7 day pickup window. If you need to extend the date past this window, please use the “Ask Us” button on this page for assistance.
