Kofi Balmer: AFC Wimbledon sign Crystal Palace defender on loan

AFC Wimbledon have signed Crystal Palace centre-back Kofi Balmer on loan.
The 23-year-old former Northern Ireland Under-21 international has agreed a deal to join the League Two side until the end of the season.
Balmer spent the first half of this season on loan at League One side Port Vale, where he made 16 appearances.
He played in Northern Ireland's top flight before moving to Palace in the summer of 2022 but is yet to play a first-team game for the Eagles.
"Kofi is a young, aggressive defender who likes to play on the front foot," Dons boss Johnnie Jackson told the club website.
"He also has the advantage of League One experience and was really keen to be a part of what we're doing."
