      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Thoroughly overwrought in true Bollywood fashion, Kites is deeply flawed -- and too effervescently charming to resist.

I'm telling about a story just go and watch.. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Ahmed M SPOILERS AHEAD, CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN WILL AND RISK While the film is okay the ending leaves some of the audience (like myself) disappointed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/30/16 Full Review Audience Member loved it great action and passion. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Stunning movie I just don't give a damn about what the film critics say Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member A gut-wrenching saga that hits a low due to its somewhat broken buildup. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Kites is a fun little Indian flick. Filmed primarily in Las Vegas and Mexico Kites is a mix of Spanish Novella and Bollywood and it works surprisingly well. Though Kites offers nothing special it is a fun little romp that will entertain for its two hour runtime. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express After Life In A Metro, you would have thought [Anurag] Basu's considerable story-telling skills could have only have ratcheted up. But both for him, and for [Hrithik] Roshan, who comes out after three years, Kites is a good-looking disappointment. Rated: 2/5 Apr 16, 2019 Full Review Anil Sinanan Time Out The technically accomplished result is cheesy, engaging but unmemorable 'time-pass' Rated: 2/5 Oct 21, 2017 Full Review Lisa Tsering Hollywood Reporter Roshan anchors the film with a solid, believable performance and a palpable chemistry with his co-star that will remind audiences just how hot a good Bollywood romance can be. Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Nikhat Kazmi The Times of India Sadly, it flounders even before it can take off and soar. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 28, 2020 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens Power, passion, revenge, heartbreak, heartache, tragedy, joy, lust, and love. Let yourself soar with KITES and a love that knows no boundaries, no barriers, a love that is eternal.
