Il Large Butterfly Habitat è stato appositamente progettato per fornire l’ambiente perfetto per la formazione delle pupe e per l’emergere delle farfalle e il gonfiamento delle ali.

In the meantime, word had spread around the school that there were caterpillars in our class and every day at break time children came to look. My favourite thing was to see how the butterflies gradually pumped their colour into their wings and that even a fallen chrysalis developed into a finished butterfly. Its wings looked stunted at first, but after the weekend it did. Thank you very much !!! Fast delivery. There were 5 or 6 worms per cup. At first I thought they were dead because they seemed to be lying in the agar bottom. Then, however, the positions of the threads changed and became larger. I added another caterpillar that I found. Interesting how they eventually crawled up the walls and pupated. The 12 caterpillars became 11 cocoons. One caterpillar died. The pupae don't just hang around either. You can tease them. We released 6 butterflies yesterday. A great experience. We bought the kit for our day care centre. The delivery went as advertised. All the little caterpillars arrived safely. It was interesting to observe that the really very small caterpillars grew bigger every day. Of the total of 14 caterpillars, 12 made it to pupation and another 10 to the finished butterfly. After I got a replacement delivery, everything went great. Now 14 pupae are hanging on the net and will soon become butterflies. After two days I took the caterpillars out of the cup into the habitat and fed them daily with fresh nettles, which I think the caterpillars really liked.
