Boy, for people who claim gender/sex is immutable, they sure are quick to revoke it as soon as you don't conform to their standard, huh?
They don't believe in people being able to freely determine their experiences for themselves and believe that society should be reshaped to prescribe rules that makes them comfortable. And of course, since this is their belief, they are also the gender police in this scenario.

Not the first time I’ve seen the bizarre assertion that trans people are vehemently opposed to cis GNC folks. I’d be really curious to know what the origin of the idea is, though I suspect it’s something TERFs just decided was true because it would be convenient.
Yeah it's mostly just convenient fearmongering that "if your kids are different in any way they'll be transed!" Which also serves as a convenient reason to enforce gender roles on kids...
Usually though it takes the form of insisting "they're erasing butch lesbians" or something. Never seen a GC talk about "men in dresses" as a good thing that needs to be protected from the evil transes before, so credit to them for novel bigotry I guess

(implying the photo was of a well-passing trans woman), obviously met with a chorus of "You can obviously tell that's a man, HE would never pass for the real thing!"

Megatron's T-rex design is genuinely still my absolute favorite.
I had a sort of hyperfixation for monster/killer robots as a kid because my dad accidentally rented Roujin Z for us thinking it was a kid's film (it's by the same guy who made Akira, to give you an idea of how very much not a kid's film it is) and that shit just transfixed my little four year old mind. There was just something so much more scary and sinister about robots that could disguise themselves as animals to me over robots who could disguise themselves as cars. Something visceral and body-horror-y. I was not only extremely disappointed when I learned Transformers transformed into cars more often than not, I (at like, age five) immediately declared normal transformers "baby shit" since Beast Wars was clearly (to me) "more grown up." I changed my mind on that when I saw Unicron for the first time, but.
I'm still kind of high key in love with a lot of the character designs from Beast Wars though. The way Msgatron's T-Rex head hung from his wrist upside-down in this broken-neck position is just peek. Chief's kiss. That most of their designs have their heads flying off or teeth and limps of their animal form relocating to weird, ghoulish positions while they kind of scream in rage/pain is still so fucking cool to me though. Optimus Primal's whole waist doing a 180 when he transforms, Rhinox's big ass head doing a violent horror movie neck break, those also gets a special shout out.
I'm not really a fan of the Micheal Bay movies, but I will say unlike most I actually really liked how visually noisy the autobots and decepticons were. Like big, kind of eldric, intimidating metal organisms rything in these overwhelming masses of living mechanical parts. Not my favorite interpretation of the designs overall, but, like, in my head, being a Beast Wars kid first, even though this really isn't the case for the majority of the franchise I like my Transformers kind of scary and menacing. That's how they should be in my head. Never going to personally prefer when they're presented so clean and sterile.
Sorry to go on a random Beast Wars ramble--- I just never get to talk about how awesome that show was.
Edit: I'm on a role, I might as well get this off my chest; I'm high key a simp for Micheal Bays gross sexist hot chick Decepticon. Whatever the fuck her in universe name was. I hated that whole movie and barely remember what happens or even which one it was in other than her, bot I let out an audible noise of excitement when I saw that in theaters. I know it was just more of his weird gross Oops-All-Male-Gaze leering, but--- fuck man, when I was a kid, I wanted a fashion doll Transformer so bad. That would have been a dream toy for me. Cute girl that turns into a big scary evil robot. I was a godless child. She was high key kind of body horror Beast Wars-y too. Disappointed she didn't go full Jennifer's Body and wear her human face on her chest at any point or some dhit though.

I think the medical terms for cis tends to lean into “non-trans” too. It isn’t personally my favorite choice of words, but I also don’t like the word moist, and as with both words, I’m not going to demand people never use the words. I just may not use them myself as often. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
'Cis' is a slur (sure jan), saying 'non-trans' makes you a (insert terf lingo that totally isn't an actual slur), is the correct way to say 'real sane 100% natal organic biological free-range ethically sourced god-ordained wombyn', or do we just not get to use words?

I’m a guy so this doesn’t really apply to me, but “wombyn” seems like the spelling of a goofy way to say “woman” meant to be funny. Until it’s connected to TERFs and now I can’t help but narrow in on the beginning being “womb” which honestly makes me kinda sick to my stomach, one of those cases where it feels like in the desperate attempt to be hateful and hurt trans folk they’ve brought the identification of women down to their genitals which is a really sad thing to see. People are so much more.
In a different space though I could totally see wombyn being a funny thing or even a way for people who don’t identify entirely as women to express themselves.

I actually do appreciate it because I see these terms on Tumblr a lot from people who are talking about their struggles with TERFblr and I don't want to ask them what the thing they have been called means, as the answer would disclose personal history that is not my business.

I used to cheekily call myself "technically cis" cause I'm intersex and was almost exclusively genderqueer.
So born non binary and identified as the gender equivalent to the sex I was born as.
But this is KowaiYabai buriburi.
I'd make their heads explode even now. I'm a mostly natal female intersex person who is genderqueer in philosophy and supposedly identifies as soft butch.
However I use Ataii wa(Rebel female pronoun) and Ore wa(male) in Japanese casual speech and use Boku(male)for formal because although Watashi is gender neutral in formal settings it is used in casual settings by woman as well.
I don't wish to suddenly sound feminine when sounding polite.
Boku also has a curious although more literary history with gender neutrality. It's used to be polite and Ore can be seen as arrogant and even comical when used by young boys so children use Boku. It also means Boku is used by many Girls in various stories, Light novels, Tv series, and anime when they are travelling in disguise. It's also a common joke for a woman to be mistaken for a teen when travelling in disguise as a boy.
Going back to Ore, Ore specifically is not even a known masculine pronoun. It's just not common as one used by woman. I realised I settled on all of those because Ultimately Ataii and Ore show a strong willed if aggressive and genderfluid person and Boku always shows politeness. They're all on the 'Butch' or masc side with the way I see em.
I also prefer being Das Madchen in my second language even though It is feminine. It's just funny cause we use the masculine in this case.
I gave up even trying to say I'm not trans anymore. But I don't know what to do from people who are desperate to um...
