The only thing is ,its got a few speckles on,both negative and positive dirt. Though perfectly acceptable for an obscure film,nearly 65 year old,which hasn't been restored.
A bit like a Grind house print,though nowhere near as bad.
Don't let the two gentlemen on the other reviews put you off,maybe they are used to everything looking pristine.
I personally like the film,dated yes,but to me it has lots of charm.

I first saw this film aged twelve when it came out in the mid-'50s and remember thinking even then that it was not up to the standard of the Hollywood films I adored. Watching it now, and having directed and seen plenty of Ivor Novello's out-put in the intervening years, it seems better than I remembered - an attempt by a British studio to make a splashy, highly coloured wide-screen musical. Many of the best loved songs are there but the important Olive Gilbert role along with her glorious contralto - and the evergreen Fly Home Little Heart - are missing. Anna Neagle as the King's mistress, looks gorgeous but lacks bite and Patrice Wymore is a fine Snow Princess. Sadly, however, Errol Flynn plays himself, by this time in his career, sadly a middle-aged, roue who always looks and sounds as if he is getting over a hangover, with none of the witty panache Novello must have brought to the role on stage. Fortunately there is the great Martita Hunt as the Queen Mum to add vocal and physical regality. Overall, a pleasant enough watch on a rainy afternoon, with some quite attractive production numbers, but ...
