I can't wait for new books to come out but then I can't put it down and I'm done too soon. This is such a good series and I love the buns l bond with the characters.

Good book. I didn't guess the killer till quite late on in the book. Worth reading. I will read the next book in the series.

Physiological thrillers are my go to genre and the Kim stone series never disappoints. The characters and connection from book to book make it nearly impossible to put it down. I look forward to the reading the rest of the series as they come out !

I've only read the first two books but after finishing them I ordered the next three and pre-ordered Book 6! I usually don't read books with the United Kingdom as the scene but her excellent writing is so great that I had a problem putting the book down. You won't be disappointed if you start this series.

I purchased this book mainly because of the price. I was in between waiting for The Guilty to be released and Michael Connelly's new book. Boy, was I in for a surprise. This book grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. The best part of the book is the character development. Kim and Bryant were characters you really cared about unlike some books you read. Kim's background and her personality because of it, made you understand her failure to connect emotionally with anyone. The closest she gets is to Bryant, her only friend. Read this book. You will not be sorry. Then read Evil Games and Lost Girls in that order. I loved all of them and can't wait until she has another book with Kim and the gang.

I read all five of the Detective Kim Stone books, and each one has been full of suspense and surprises. The main reason I enjoy this series is the development of Detective Kim Stone. She is a woman who has overcome great personal tragedy and channeled her energy into helping others. While Kim may be psychologically flawed, she is also imminently likeable. She is a modern woman with an edgy persona. Her adopted dog Barney is the canine version of herself with all of his quirks. The next installment of this motorcycle riding detective is sure to be highly entertaining!

Angela Marsons is the Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author of the DI Kim Stone series and her books have sold more than 5 million in 7 years.
