I have studied the Kennedy assassination since I was a 12 year old boy in the 7th grade on November 22, 1963. This movie was very well documented albeit a few creative licenses. Example: Tippit was shot 3 times over the hood of the car then Oswald came around the car and fired the forth shot into his head. Oswald did not buy a ticket to the theater and was in the 3rd row from the rear, not the 2nd. Marion Baker the Police Officer who confronted Oswald in the lunchroom took 1 1/2 to 2 minutes to get to the 2nd floor of the Texas School Book Depository, Robert Kennedy's was notified of the shooting by J. Edgar Hoover while sitting on his patio having lunch, etc. Nonetheless this movie, is as accurate a representation of the assassination of President Kennedy as it gets. If you buy into one, or perhaps all, of this silly conspiracy nonsense: Pro Cubans, Anti Cubans, CIA, FBI, Secret Service, KGB (Soviet Union), Mafia, Dallas Police Department, Jack Ruby, Lyndon Johnson, Mafia and the ever present, all powerful, "Military Industrial Complex" this movie is not for you. Better to watch a movie about astrology, the 911 “Controlled Demolition”, faked Moon Landings; how the LAPD framed OJ Simpson or the greatest fictional movie of all time: Oliver Stone’s “JFK”. Simple fact is Lee Harvey Oswald smuggled his 6.5 Manlicher Curcano into the Texas School Book Depository, in a brown bag, telling coworker Buell Wesley Frazier they were curtain rods. He fired 3 shots from the southeast corner of the 6th floor of the TSBD, the 1st missed (Zapruder 160), 2nd hit Kennedy and Connelly (Zapruder 224); 3rd hit Kennedy in the head (Zapruder 313). Oswald fled the scene; took a bus got off; then a cab arrived at 1026 N Beckley in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas. Retrieved his jacket, revolver, walked down Beckley, to Crawford to 10th Street and shot Officer J.D. Tippit at 404 10th Street. He ran down Patton and 10th to Jefferson slipped int to the Texas Theather without paying. Johnny Brewer alerted Marie Postal, the ticket taker, she called the police and Oswald was captured by N.M (Nick) McDonald after a struggle. Crackpot "Sparky" (Jack) Ruby shot Oswald in anger. Ruby was in his apartment when Oswald was to be transferred. He was wiring money to one of his strippers at the Western Union office 3 minutes before he shot Oswald. He had his dog (Sheeba) waiting in his car. Had Oswald not asked for a change of clothes (the black sweater) he would have been moved to the Dallas County Jail 15 minutes earlier while Ruby was still driving. All you conspiracy buffs ask yourself this simple question: If Oswald was part of this grand conspiracy, lasting now 50 years, why didn't Oswald simply go to Washington (or Hyanis Port) to stalk Kennedy and kill him? Kennedy traveled on a political trip to Dallas where the motorcade was not decided on until November 15, 1963 (published in the paper on 11/18/63). Kennedy then simply had the misfortune to pass by the window of a disaffected, loser with a $12.88 mail-order rifle. He shot 3 times (one missed, two hit) a rate of 66% end of story. I am not a fan of Bill O'Reilly but this is a very detailed, very accurate (see above) and entertaining movie. If you want the truth about the Kennedy Assassination and want to see a gripping drama then I greatly recommend this movie. If you want fantasy and pure nonsense then go watch Oliver Stone's JFK.

Well done movie, but you have to buy into the theory that Lee Harvey Oswald acted completely alone. Other than that, I would whole heartedly encourage you to watch the film. Either way, I'd encourage you to watch it.

This was an excellent movie.if you liked parkland ,you'll love this.very well casted and acted.a few minor inaccuracies but still educational.It really shows you the personality of a liar and a loon, also a consement traitor bent on the murder of a President deluding himself that he was a patriot on a self righteous moral high ground while breaking every one of God's laws.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about those events or just loves a good historical drama.

It had many good points and the production had a few moments. The relationship issues were touched upon but far too briefly. His age, what happened with Nikita Khrushchev was so underplayed... I'll get back to you once I've read the book...

Well acted, engrossing, and dramatic. The time warp back accomplished in this short film feels very authentic, with believable sets and characters, even down to the FBI agents. Having seen and read much about what occurred during this horrific time in our history, I found the events depicted to seem almost too believable, as if I was watching them in real-time. The moment where Jackie takes the wedding ring off of her fallen husband's hand is heart-breaking. Bill O'Reilly is obviously very controversial, but his novel and this film are borderline-outstanding. The meticulous level of research conducted is very apparent.

As someone about 3 weeks older than JFK, Jr, so I don't remember any of this happening in real time. I would like to believe that this, more than any other documentary, was more evenly balanced. It showed the POTUS at times very vulnerable and it showed Oswald as a man struggling with his inner demons, but also one who truly loved his wife and children. We all have a "picture" of what we think Oswald was, because of what history says he did, but this showed the other side of both men.
