This is an interesting movie. I think it's a little "racy" in some aspects and I am thinking that this was an add on to make the movie more appealing to some. I don't think that is a good idea. The story should be told as it's supposed to be told, from the bible. I had heard it was a good movie but I was not too happy with it. I should have rented it on digital instead of buying it. Not really what I thought it would be.

While there were no startling revelations or astounding interpretations of the age old tale this version still approached the tapestry of the narrative in a fresh way. The cinematography was excellent as were the actors and at the end of the show you felt just that much closer to the spirit of the truth that is intended. I recommend this show as it broadens & expands your understanding of the story so often told.

We purchased this movie to watch specifically on Easter. Sadly, the film was greatly disappointing since it only focused on Jesus' human side. The narrative in the film removes all aspects of Jesus' divinity, the miracles he performed, and most importantly, it places doubt on Jesus' resurrection.

Jesus was both 100% human and 100% God, this film made Jesus 100% human and 0% God.
