I feel like if the movie had a larger budget, it would've been—dare I say—one of the best movies of 2017. The movie isn't bad, there's some parts to it that make you think that the main character is stupid in a sense, but if you don't mind that, I'd recommend this if you have nothing to do.

Though it feels like a made-for-TV film, Halle Berry gives a dedicated performance. However, the storyline is a mixture of "The Call" and "Speed", which makes the movie unoriginal. Eventhough the film is predictable, it's not boring. There just isn't enough shocking moments to give "Kidnap" a high review.
