Kevin Federline and his wife Victoria Prince are enjoying living on island time.

The former dancer and musician, 45, and his wife of a decade, 40, were photographed taking a stroll on the beach on Friday after moving to Hawaii earlier this year.

The pair looked happy and sun-kissed as they went for a walk in the sand.

Federline appears to have adjusted to island life, having grown his hair and beard out longer. The musician and ex-husband of Britney Spears was also seen wearing a t-shirt bringing attention to unsolicited land offers that were made in the Maui wildfire-affected town Lahaina. “Keep Lahaina Lands in Lahaina Hands,” the shirt said.

Meanwhile, the teacher and entrepreneur kept cool from the sun by styling her hair in a braid and wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses and bikini.

The couple relocated to Hawaii earlier this year with the two daughters they share — Jordan Kay, 12, and Peyton Marie, 9, as well as Federline’s two sons with Spears, 41. The decision to move with Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, came after the pop star agreed to Federline’s request to move their sons out of the Los Angeles area in late May.

Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told PEOPLE at the time, "It's an opportunity for Kevin and his wife, and the boys are ready to get away from the L.A. microscope."

A source also confirmed that in early May the former back-up dancer requested permission from the singer to move with their two sons, who were residing with him. “Britney has always faithfully supported her children and wants them to be happy,” the source told PEOPLE.

Federline cited the reason to move as being professional opportunities for himself and his wife’s job offer from a Hawaiian university.

Prince previously lived in Hawaii when she was studying for her bachelor's degree and playing volleyball at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Federline has spoken about his wife of 10 years in interviews before. In 2015, he told E! News, “Vic is my best friend. We work well together. We both want the same things for our children. Me and Vic know how to have fun together and I think that's important."

The DJ also shares two kids, daughter Kori Madison, 21, and son Kaleb Michael, 19, with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson
