Kelly Price is Safe & Recovering From COVID, According to Rep

Kelly Price's representation says that the singer is safe and accounted for.

Kelly Price's attorney Monica Ewing has informed Cobb County police that the singer is safe. Ewing told TMZ that Kelly Price is recovering from a nasty battle with COVID-19. Her location has still not been revealed.

Earlier in the evening, TMZ reported that Price was listed as a missing person with the National Crime Information Center after a welfare check took place at her home last Saturday. The singer was admitted to the hospital a week after posting to Instagram on July 29 that she had COVID and was struggling with symptoms.

According to TMZ, Price's family was in touch with her while she was recovering in the hospital. But three weeks after she was admitted, her kids received a call saying she was discharged although she hadn't fully recovered. The family hasn't seen Price in a month.

The welfare check occurred after someone informed cops that Price's boyfriend was allegedly not allowing family and friends to visit her home. However, the authorities found no evidence of foul play and spoke with Price's boyfriend at the residence.
