What travelers are saying
- James F MWorcester, MA1 contributionI saw Bruce in the USA on Saturday July 15 at Colonial Theater in Keene NH. My first time there. It was very nice but small. I am a 5 year volunteer at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester which is a much larger facility. That being said, the people at the Colonial were very pleasant and helpful and it was a great experience.Written July 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andres72423Bridgeport, CT2,937 contributionsWhat a really nice gathering place for the community. They have a nice gazebo which was decorated for Christmas. Also, as in most squares they have a tribute to veterans and what seemed to be a center water fountain, although we went in the winter time and there was no water for all the obvious reasons.Written February 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kitty M5 contributionsThe cutest gift shop with locally made items. Staff more than willing to answer questions, and if you have questions about your ancestry or history locally, this is where you want to be!Written February 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cindy MBronx, NY46 contributionsThe farm seems very cute. There was a summer camp happening and I felt that must be an awesome experience for kids. I walked to the wetlands boardwalk and did a small bit of a trail. The trail-maps online aren’t the greatest so I didn’t go in very far, but the woods are beautiful, and there are lovely benches to sit on throughout.Written August 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PhilipKeene, NH148 contributionsSo grateful to have found these trails, for riding, for walking, for running. So good to be away from traffic. I hope you will get out and enjoy them too.Written August 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- K. Sylvia6 contributionsWe recently visited the Horatio Colony Museum for it's holiday tour. The home was decorated for the holidays as it would have been during the victorian era. It was a real step back in time and so nice to see such an important part of Keene's history preserved for everyone to enjoy. Although the holiday tour only included the main floor, we enjoyed it, and look forward to visiting again when open for the season so we can tour the entire home. A must see if you're ever in Keene.Written December 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Barbara RKeene, NH38 contributionsThe Swamp Bats play @ Alumni Field (@ the Keene High School). They are college students from all over the U.S. that play during their summer break (June, July, and the first week of August; there are usually 20-21 home games & about the same number of away games). Some of the players have made it to the Majors. There is active community support for the team, which has been in existence for 22 years. The team has won the New England Collegiate Baseball League title 5 times. There are field games for kids during the game and a mascot that interacts with attendees. Admission price is $5 (Sr discount available). There is a snack shop @ reasonable prices including fresh cut french fries. (NO alcohol allowed as it's on school property.)Written December 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rnmassage130 contributionsWe stopped in to pick up a few things for folks back home and it is just the place for that task! Items are unique and well-priced. I wish I could have stayed longer to do more shopping, but our time was limited. Lucky are those who live near by!Written October 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jack SBatesville, IN235 contributionsVery nice trail to walk. A flat level surface mostly along the Ashuelot River. The trees provide cover from the sun, but may be a hinderance in the extremely hot summer.Written May 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lorrie G4 contributionsThe walk around Goose Pond was beautiful. It took about an hour and half including getting to the pond and back to the car. We did stop and take pictures throughout the walk. Please keep Google maps on you as there are not good markings on the trail. Drop a pin on your start point on the Google maps. It is level in most places, but there are places you have to go over rocks and fallen trees. We would go again.Written October 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
