Trained at Geldar de Kourou (Guyana), Kayne Bonnevie joined the OL Academy during the 2016/2017 season then quickly progressed through all of the youth categories before joining the Pro 2 squad in the summer of 2018, before becoming the most-used player this season in National 2, starting in six of the team's nine matches.

At 19, Kayne Bonnevie is now one of the four goalkeepers in the professional squad, alongside Anthony Lopes, Julian Pollersbeck and Malcolm Barcola, thus confirming the club's tradition of training top-level goalkeepers.

Kayne Bonnevie's Reaction

“I feel a lot of joy. I had the goal of one day signing a professional deal with OL. I am all the more happy in having come back from having been injured for a long time and experiencing a unique season with the National 2 season having been called off. I have worked with the first team in training and I hope to continue on this path, to keep progressing, and to show what I'm capable of."
