But that's not the only bit of history she made. Kay Lee Ray is actually the longest reigning women's champion in WWE's entire modern era, which includes both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.

She is actually married to fellow British wrestler, Stevie Ray, who is another popular talent that has made quite the name for himself over the years. While WWE might not mention it unless he gets signed, it is certainly interesting to know.

One name in WWE that Kay Lee Ray is very familiar with is Doudrop. The Monday Night Raw star who has been working with Eva Marie as of late is one of her best friends outside of the ring, but inside of it, they have been fierce rivals throughout their careers.

They competed in NXT UK, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. The two women have wrestled each other for countless promotions from ICW and WCPW, battling for titles of personal pride, and hopefully one day they will take that storyline to the biggest stage possible in WWE.

Princesa Sugehit was able to pick up the win against her in that tournament which led to her early exit. Because of that, a lot of fans forgot she was even involved in the tournament, but this was an early chance for her to shine with the company.

Back in 2015, the Scottish wrestler was brought in by WWE to appear on the black and gold brand. She competed against Nia Jax who was on a hot streak and was enjoying a push at the time, with Lee Ray being used to put her over.

Kay Lee Ray ended up being a big part of that and she actually captured the WCPW Women's Championship, holding the title during the transition between WCPW and Defiant Wrestling. Ray is obviously no stranger to championship gold.
