Meet the General Hospital Newcomers Entering the Epic ‘CarSon’ Divorce Melee

It looks as though Port Charles is about to be the stomping grounds for a major divorce battle and two more people will be thrown into the thick of it. On Tuesday, February 15, General Hospital viewers got their first look at Kate Orsini in the role of Rebecca Diamond, Carly’s divorce lawyer and, since Sonny couldn’t convince his wife to hear him out and deal with their issues in a less-permanent way (can you blame her?!), he will seek counselor as well. S.W.A.T. actor David Rees Snell will play the role of Malcolm, the attorney representing Sonny, as first reported by Soap Opera Digest.

Technically, we actually met Orsini ages ago when she briefly appeared on the ABC soap as Eve in 2007. And she’s no stranger to daytime… The actress also turned up in the recurring role of Dr. March on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as a couple of dayplayer roles on NBC’s Days of Our Lives.

It’s safe to say that things are going to get really messy, especially since Carly already made it clear to her lawyer that she wants Nina to pay for each and every lie she told, for all of the pain she had caused and for everything that she stole from her family — and it didn’t take long for Rebecca to agree to take her case.
