Kaley Cuoco is an American actress and producer. She portrays Cassandra "Cassie" Bowden on HBO Max's The Flight Attendant.[1]
In an interview, she stated that she pursued the rights to the title the moment she read the first line of the novel on Amazon. In addition to her role as Bowden, she serves as an executive producer for the series through her production company Yes, Norman Productions.[2] She admitted, however, that had lied to her production team, claiming to have read the entire book when asking them to pursue the rights.[3] Cuoco expressed her appreciation to those who had shown support for the series, particularly fans of The Big Bang Theory who had taken the chance to watch the series, despite knowing her as another character.[4]
Cuoco is perhaps most known for her regular role as Penny Hofstadter on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory and more recently as the voice of Harley Quinn in the animated series by the same name. She also starred for three seasons as Bridget Hennessy on the hit ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules (for Dating My Teenage Daughter).
Kaley Cuoco is the sister of Briana Cuoco, who portrays Cecilia, a recurring character on The Flight Attendant.
On February 3, 2021 she was nominated for the 78th annual Golden Globe Awards in the category Best Television Actress – Musical/Comedy Series.[5]
