This is our last newsletter and week of posts before our annual summer hiatus. What’s happening with you this summer? Send us news of your summer releases, launches and events and we’ll post it on our homepage for the whole of the summer.

Sheila Horne‘s creative non-fiction story, “Sweet Heaven” has been published in The Writers Community York Region anthology, No Ordinary Day. Available on Amazon.

Kay Smith-Blum is participating in Yellow Arrow Publishing’s live read celebrating their summer issue, “UpSpring.” Smith-Blum will be reading her piece, “On Edge.” Join on facebook live on June 28th at 7pm EST/4pm PST at  https://fb.me/e/1IoTm7aqi 

Larry Brown will be teaching workshops over the summer.  Two are Zoom workshops so you can live anywhere and still take part.

July 23-24, 1:30-3:30 pm, A Closer Look (you will examine your life from a number of angles and come up with pages and pages of material for both fiction & non-fiction)

August 15-18, (Monday to Thursday), 6:30-8:30 pm, The Write Week, a mini-camp for new and experienced writers.  We’ll spend the four evenings experimenting and you’ll leave the class ready to write a story, memoir or novel.
