Kaagaz 2 trailer: Satish Kaushik’s last film is about a father who seeks justice for his dead daughter

Directed by VK Prakash and produced by Shashi Satish Kaushik, Ratan Jain, and Ganesh Jain, Kaagaz 2 is a collaborative production of Satish Kaushik Entertainment LLP & Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Kaagaz 2 follows Satish Kaushik’s quest for justice after the tragic death of his daughter. He takes on the challenge of advocating for the prohibition of political rallies, road blockades, and protests. Anang Desai portrays a formidable politician in the film, and it is revealed that his political rally led to the untimely demise of Satish’s daughter. Anupam plays the role of Satish’s lawyer, helping him seek justice. His son, played by Darshan, also joins the cause aiding Satish in his fight for justice.

Talking about the film, Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt Ltd’s Ratan Jain shared, “My association with Satish ji goes way back. He directed a film for my company, and we produced several films together. Kaagaz 2 holds a special place in my heart. It is a tribute to my dear friend.” He emphasised the film’s distinctive message, stating, “The unique selling point lies in the message: ‘Do not block others’ paths to pave your own. Political rallies and protests often cause traffic jams, inconveniencing common people.”

Anupam Kher took to Instagram to share his thoughts, “Dearest #SATISHKAUSHIK! The trailer of your passion project and unfortunately the last project #Kaagaz2 is releasing tomorrow! He continued, “As law-abiding citizens, let us follow what is written on official Kaagaz. A film based on true instances and in loving memory of dear Satish Kaushik ji, releasing in cinemas on 1st March.”
