PRIOR TO LSU
Committed to LSU in June 2021 and decided to reclassify to the 2021 class instead of the 2022 class … Played his freshman and sophomore seasons for Roman Catholic High School in the Philadelphia Catholic League before transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida for the 2020-21 season … As a sophomore averaged 18.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists for Roman Catholic … The team won the PCL title in 2019 when Williams was a freshman and advanced to the PIAA 6A quarterfinals … Their 2020 run at a title was halted by the pandemic … Montverde team in 2021 went 24-1 and won the GEICO National Title … Played for Team Final on the AAU circuit, which won the Southern Jamfest in Hampton, Virginia and the NIKE EYBL Peach Jam in Georgia … Averaged 9.5 points on the EYBL circuit.
