Fantastic guitar skills again. It's solid, it's pleasant, it's easy-going. Good one. The album starts off with a trippy 'The Riff' where Pat Travers wasted no time showing off his level of command of the guitar. Then goes fine bluesy 'Too Cool Woman Blues' that reinforces the positive impression about the release. Well, all what's going next are joy for everyone who like guitar sound. Besides, he hold the right ratio of speedy and slow numbers. He is just a master of the non-stop guitar perfection. The excellent issue, I think we are dealing with a hidden gem here. Full 4 stars.

Pat Travers seems to have a preference for blues-rock, and that is reflected on this high-energy recording, with a few fast rockers thrown in. It kicks off in lively fashion with the rocking "The Riff", as good a name as there can be for a song from this guitar man. This is followed by the macho "Too Cool Woman Blues" ("you mess with my woman, I'll be messin' with you"). The best track on the first half is probably the slower, bluesy "The Pain". On the second half "I've Fallen" is a pretty good blues-rock number, "Draydream (Your Blues Away)" is an instrumental featuring Pat's guitar work, and "The More Things Change" is a funkier, more soulful number. The album closes with one of the best tracks - "Miss Glory", unusually - for PT - combining acoustic and electric guitars.
All the tracks are at least in-part self-penned. Pat's not the greatest singer, but he always manages to produce an energetic album powered by his heavy style of guitar music. This is a good album. Recommended to any fan of guitar rock.
