Julia Mae (Bingham) Timmons, 65, was born on July 21, 1958 in DeQueen, AR, the daughter of Buster Bingham and Flonnie (Sells) Bingham. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Julia was a lifelong resident of McCurtain County, OK and a graduate of Valliant High School, Class of 1976. She married her forever best friend, Charles “Allen” Timmons on August 5, 1978 in Felker, OK. Julia went on to further her education by receiving her associate degree in nursing from Paris Junior College in Paris, TX. She used her skills and knowledge as a registered nurse to care for many in the community. Julia owned and operated Neighborhood Hospice in Millerton, OK for ten years. Her commitment to her patients and their families was rewarding to her; she really loved helping people. Beyond her professional life, Julia found joy in cooking big meals for her family during the holidays and enjoyed canning vegetables from her garden. She was also very creative and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Julia also liked getting to go fishing. She adored her grandchildren more than anything and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Julia is survived by her husband, Allen Timmons of Garvin, OK; son, Kyle Andrew Timmons and wife, Ann Marie of Millerton, OK; daughters, Vanessa Tidmore and husband, Jeremiah of Tulsa, OK and Britney Vest and husband, Scott of Millerton, OK; grandchildren, Dustin Tidmore, Ethan Tidmore, Caden Tidmore, Zayden Timmons and Nicholas Timmons; brothers, John Bingham of Valliant, OK and Ronald Bingham of Big Sandy, TX; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
