Kicking it into high Greer! Judy Greer, 40, flashes flesh in cutaway dress at Addicted To Fresno premiere

She's always the nerdy friend, the odd friend, and ever so often the hot friend in movies.

But on Wednesday night Judy Greer was most certainly the leading lady as she arrived at the premiere for Addicted To Fresno.

The 40-year-old actress was stunning in a cutaway dress that flashed glimpses of her alabaster flesh at the New York screening of the film.

The blonde pinned her hair up into an elegant bun as she stood tall in gold open toe stilettos.

Her dress also featured a split thigh, exposing the actress' leg nearly all the way to her hip.

Greer co-stars in the film, slated to hit theaters in the US on October 2, with Natasha Lyonne and Aubrey Plaza.

The movie centers on two co-dependent sisters who are stuck working together as maids in a hotel.

Meanwhile, the 13 Going on 30 actress seems to be having an aging crisis of her own: turning 40.

To mark the milestone birthday, she reveals some of the more hilarious truths about aging in Hollywood with a personal essay for Yahoo! Beauty.

From plastic surgery to personal style, Greer touches on the things she worries about the most as she celebrates her 40th birthday, admitting that she is trying to focus on things she can control, 'like sleeping eight hours a night, drinking water, washing my face before bed, and what I put on my face'.

But it's the things she can't control that have her turning to lasers and 'other products that occasionally [intentionally] burn my face'.

'I have really puffy undereyes,' she says. 'It’s hereditary and a total nightmare. I have been told that I should sleep on my back with my head slightly elevated to decrease the pooling of liquid in my lower eyelids,' she jokes.

Greer also hates her hair, she says, explaining that it is too fine. 'No one believes that it’s actually super curly! But if you’ve seen The Wedding Planner, that’s my real hair,' she says.

Her 'non-drastic way' to deal with her hair is by having regular Brazilian Blowouts, once every six months.
